In 2019, Lois was inducted into Encore! Dance Hall of Fame.
Brown is a cross-disciplinary artist in St. John’s. As a performer, director, teacher, dramaturg and mentor, she has been instrumental in the growth of postmodern dance and performance in Newfoundland. Her work mixes movement, sound, text and props in often humorous and satirical ways.
